Join Landscape Photographer and Nikon School Lecturer Josh Beames on this 2-hour sunset-to-dusk workshop at the beautifully unique, Princess Pier.
During this workshop, you will learn important skills for capturing sunset shots and long exposures. Josh will walk you through how he composes his images using composition techniques and angles, as well as how to adapt to changing lighting conditions.
Skill Level: Entry Level to Intermediate Level

Topics Covered:
- Composition: framing, use of minimal foreground & abstract.
- Understanding exposure and the power of dynamic range
- Learn to observe and adapt to your shooting conditions from sunset to dusk
What to Bring:
- A Mirrorless or DSLR camera
- A tripod
- ND filters, graduated filter & Polariser (not a must but helpful)
- A fully charged battery (spare battery recommended)
- S D/Memory cards for your camera
- Wide angle &/or Zoom lens focal length equivalent to 14-24, 24-200.
- Something to take notes (eg. notepad on phone)
- Warm clothes & waterproof jacket
