Join us on the second floor in the La Kermesse Room as we celebrate our rich sports heritage and culture. Thanks to a recent SAA Grant you can now hear the voices and join in the excitement of some of this history!The event will feature:
-Displays and presentations on local sports legends including Coaches James Beaudry, Coach Bob Cote, Freddy Parent, and others.
- Exhibits of sports memorabilia and archives, such as the Mouzas sports scrapbook
- Clips of newly digitized game audio presented via a slideshow
- Free educational materials for attendees
In recognition of American Archives Month, launched by the SAA in 2006, attendees are encouraged to bring old sports photos to share. With permission, photographs will be digitized on-site and considered for inclusion in BCHC’s growing sports photo archive.
