Christine Read's class is about capturing moments with minimal art supplies, particularly while traveling. I will concentrate on using a 'pen and wash' technique, which I will demonstrate. Travel journal in a visual diary as well as some more 'resolved' works will be discussed and demonstrated.I will bring my 'kit' and suggest that if wanted, people can also bring a sketch book - I mostly carry an A5 book on travels but sometimes larger for art journaling - with firm paper (from any good art supplier), 180 gsm and above. I also carry a pad of watercolor paper 300gsm I use watercolor, gouache and gel pen.

Doors open at 9.00am to set up ready for a 9:30am start, with a 3:00pm finish. BYO morning tea, lunch, drinks, easel and appropriate art supplies. Tutorials cost $30 for members and $50 for visitors/non-members. ALL WELCOME
