Empowering Mothers and Daughters through Photography and Powerful ConversationThe Capturing Confidence workshop is a two-part interactive workshop beginning with powerful conversations and education centered around mental health, food + nutrition, and body confidence followed by learning how to take a stunning photo and participating in a mini-session photoshoot. The discussion/conversation will focus on "Nourishing Ourselves." The connections we make to the things we consume (food, social media, etc.) are deeper than we realize. This discussion will help us to be more selective with what we decide to take in and what we put out into the world. Join us at the gorgeous South Hills venue, Scene on the Boulevard, for an unforgettable and transformative experience that will help you navigate today's world as a mother/daughter duo, allowing for a boost of confidence and self-esteem for both. **this workshop is recommended for children ages 9+
Speaker Bios
-Cristin Goss, Photographer + Confidence Coach, GossBoss LLC With almost 20 years of working in production, Cristin specializes in helping women rebuild and reclaim radical acceptance of their bodies and minds through her photography and coaching services. She loves to help women gain confidence in-front of the camera as well as in their personal and professional lives. She recently launched a series of in-person workshops and is enjoying connecting with women through mindset and affirmation work as well.
-Danielle Thum, Selah Integrative Wellness Danielle's exercise physiology background and 10 years of experience working in pediatric and community health care fuel her p assion for helping individuals and families improve lifelong health. She leverages her knowledge of holistic behavior change, as well as mindfulness, yoga, and trauma-sensitive practices to create accessible wellness programming with transformational results. Her work integrates evidence-based health and wellness strategies with the honest intricacies of everyday life.
-Erin Troup, Founder + Licensed Therapist, Sprout Center for Emotional Health and Development LLC Erin is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in early childhood social emotional needs, particularly attachment, grief & loss, trauma and anxiety. Erin earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and child development from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She attended Chatham University for her MS in counseling and earned her Infant Mental Health Certificate in Pennsylvania’s first Infant Mental Health cohort.

Workshop Cancellation Policy
We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations (virtual or in-person).
If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit for your registration amount to use toward any future event if you notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop. Any cancellations with less than 48 hours advance notice will receive a partial 50% credit toward a future event. To cancel and request a credit, you must email us at [email protected]. Workshop credits are not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied to photography packages.
In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, instructor illness/emergency, or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).
