Ahoy & Welcome to the great city of York! Captain Mustache is proud to present this year's Beard & Moustache Competition!
This will be the third competition in what is set to be an annual tradition of gathering glorious styles and excellent folks.
You are cordially invited... On Saturday 19th of July 2025, Captain Mustache will have the privilege of assembling and exhibiting some of the best Beards & Moustaches, from around the UK and internationally.
After an enthusiastic turn out last year we're hoping to go even bigger than before!
This year's theme is *God's & Monsters*
Whether you feel like embracing York's rich viking history, or taking a twist on the mythological theme, fancy dress is not required but is highly encouraged!
There will be 11 Beard & Mustache competition categories for you to enter - in a range of various sizes & styles - from the refined to the flamboyant - we can't wait to see your faces!
The adult & children's fake beard categories will also return, ensuring there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
The event will be held at the fully accessible community venue, The Crescent, York.

Entry fee per category - £13.50
Over 10s competing - £6
Spectator tickets - £6
Free for spectators under 16yrs
