Captain Hot Dog Sauce is a 4-piece instrumental band from Vienna. To attempt to reduce it to one specific genre would be a misperception of the concept behind the group.
In a lineup consisting of guitar, bass, drums and various electronic instruments, the musically open-minded quartet creates a form of contemporary groove music that is influenced by a wide variety of genres, including funk, soul, rock and electronic styles.
The Sauce strives to incorporate every musical style they come across into their own unique sound concoction, which is sophisticated and at times a bit crazy. Be prepared for a performance full of authentic flavour and some unexpected twists.
