Take the first step to becoming a CAPPA Certified Labor Doula! Training is two days, 18 hours of everything birth and includes a doula equipment kit and a one-year CAPPA membership. We will explore the do's and don'ts, the how's and why's of providing support to laboring women and their partners, discuss what it is like to be IN labor and AT labor, delve into benefits and risks of inductions and routine interventions, learn the ins and outs of on-call life and running a successful doula practice. We will learn a lot, laugh a lot, and make connections with fellow doulas who will become a support system for you as you begin your work as a professional doula.
