Take the first step to becoming a CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator! The training is 2 days, 18 hours of everything birth education and includes a one-year CAPPA membership! Childbirth Educators are a crucial member of every family's birth team. Educators prepare couples to approach their labors with confidence in themselves and the process of birth. We empower parents by providing evidence based information and equipping them with decision making skills to help them achieve their goals for their births. This training will help you develop your presentation skills and prepare you to develop a curriculum consisting of topics you feel are most important for couples to learn as they begin planning their births. We will learn a lot, we will laugh a lot, and we will make connections with fellow educators who will become a support system for you as you begin your work as a Certified Childbirth Educator.
