We are thrilled to welcome treinel Pedrinha do Mar back home to lead a workshop open to the wider capoeira community here in Stockholm.Pedrinha began her capoeira journey at the age of seven with Mestre Goioerê at Muzenza Perth, Australia. After moving to Stockholm at age ten, her dedication and level of training allowed her to join the adult group under Prof. Miguel (Senzala/Malungos).
At thirteen, she began training with Professor Charmoso and joined Angoleiros do Mar Stockholm. From 2014 to 2020, she trained and traveled internationally with Mestre Marcelo Angola, and in recognition of her commitment and development, she received the title of treinel in 2019 at the age of eighteen.
In 2024, Pedrinha founded her own group, Angoleiros do Mar Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, where she has built a vibrant and welcoming capoeira community with the support of her husband, Zumbi do Mar. As a mother of two young children, she is an inspiration and a powerful example of how pregnancy, motherhood, and life as a capoeirista can be beautifully combined.
Her capoeira is strong, graceful, and acrobatic. She continues to build a strong international reputation as she is invited to travel the world, offering inspiring workshops throughout the global capoeira community.
