Capoeira Saturdays is an intro-class series offered by the Queen City GINGA Project as part of the Arts & Science Council Culture Blocks program.

Classes for all ages.
Participants will be exposed to the fundamental movements and elements of capoeira including learning about the history and culture of the art form. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines music, dance, acrobatics, and dance developed by Enslaved Africans and Indigenous peoples. This unique art form is the only martial art where men, women, and children compete together to rhythmic sounds.
