PRESENTER:
Pete Williams is a veteran North Carolina banker who most recently served as Senior Vice President & Chief Credit Officer at M&F Bank, leading enterprise credit policy, underwriting, and risk. He was tapped for high-profile transactions expanding access to capital—quoted as M&F’s CCO in the NFL’s $78M credit facility with a consortium of Black- and women-led banks, and in Citigroup’s $1.2B loan that included Black-owned banks. A North Carolina A&T graduate (business administration) and former N.C. School of Banking faculty member, Williams retired from M&F in 2025 after decades of service.
