About this Event
Join the NC Museum of History downtown for a team scavenger hunt! Explore Fayetteville Street and its immediate side streets to track down buildings and landmarks to uncover details about the capital city’s business district from the 18th century to the present. Be the first to solve all the clues and win the grand prize! Fayetteville Street has served as the heart of Raleigh’s business district since the city’s beginning; many remnants of its history are still present today. So, gather your team of history lovers (maximum 6 participants per team) and register to compete on this unique history-themed walking team scavenger hunt!
The tour will cover about one mile of walking, starting at the State Capitol and consisting primarily of Fayetteville Street and immediate side streets down to Davie Street. Teams will have to register online by October 17. Teams must be checked in by NCMH staff and ready to begin the hunt at 1 p.m.
