Capital City Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Footprints of Michigan is proud to bring you the Capital City DÃa de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) sponsored by Feldman Chevy of Lansing. This is a celebration of life and death of all ages. While the holiday originated in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America and the US which takes place November 1-2. Come dressed up and ready to celebrate tradition, community, and diversity.
Participants are encouraged to wear traditional Dia de los Muertos face paint, flowers and other attire. Face Painting will be available along with taco trucks and other activities after race FAMILY FUN EVENT!
Location: Granger Meadows Park
Cost: Pre-registration before October 16th (all ages) $35.00 - includes Dia de los Muertos t-shirt. After pre-registration date $40.00 (all ages), t-shirt as supplies last.
Carrera de Ninos (Kids Run) $10 after pre registration $15
Awards: All participants will receive a beautiful Dia de Los Muertos finisher medal and T- Shirt

Race will start at 11:00 am.
