The Cape to Cape Highlights Weekender offers you the opportunity to experience Western Australia’s premier coastal long distance trail, the Cape to Cape Track in style! Experience the stunning natural highlights of this well-known trail with amazing coastal clifftop views, ancient granite landscapes, pristine beaches, stunning wildflowers and historical tails. All whilst you stay in beachside resort accommodation, dine at some of the best local hot spots and relax and unwind whilst completely immersed in the beauty of the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge.
With transport included departing from the Perth metropolitan area, this is the perfect all-inclusive experience that provides an opportunity for you to recharge your batteries!
Itinerary
Day 1- Friday
We will depart Perth at 10am with our eyes set on Gnarabup Bay with a stop at the Old Coast Rd Brewery, Myalup for lunch. Our first hike this weekend will be a highlights stretch from Smith’s Beach to Wyadup Rocks! Here you’ll be greeted with ancient granite rocks which you will navigate up to be rewarded with stunning views over Canal Rocks and the Yallingup Aquarium. Our short hike will lead us to Wyadup rocks where the OTBT bus will be waiting to take you to check in at Margarets Beach Resort. You’ll enjoy some free time before we head to Margaret River Brewhouse for dinner.
Day 2 – Saturday
Fuel up with breakfast made from ingredients provided in our breakfast basket before heading off the beaten track to hike the fantastic stretch between Ellensbrook and Prevelly at Gnarabup (12kms). Today’s highlights include the historic Ellensbrook Homestead, Meekadarbee Falls, Joey’s Nose, Kilcarnup Beach, Cape Mentelle and Horse Shoe Bay. We will provide you with a delicious morning tea and lunch to have out on the coastline. If the water levels are too high to cross the Margaret River Mouth in Prevelly by foot, we will be canoed across, adding an extra bit of excitement to your day! After hiking for the day, we’ll return to the Resort for a little R ‘n’ R. Tonight’s dinner will be enjoyed at The Common Bar & Bistro.
Day 3 – Sunday
After breakfast and checking out of our accommodation, we’ll hit the tracks for an awesome day hiking another highlight stretch of the Cape to Cape Track today, 8km in total, beginning at local surf spot Moses Rock and hiking through to Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs. After passing Moses Rock Campsite and crossing Wilyabrup Brook, you’ll climb up along the ridge line and through the melaleuca trees until you reach the star of the day – the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs! We’ll take a short detour and head down to the base of the cliffs to admire these ancient craggy cliffs so you can appreciate just how impressive they are! A wonderfully constructed staircase then guides you up and onto the top of the stunning sea cliffs and offers amazing vistas for you to admire. After our hike we’ll enjoy lunch at Black Brewing Co before we head back to Perth feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the new week with plenty of amazing memories and stories to tell!

Terrain: The Cape to Cape is rugged but achievable for most with a reasonable level of fitness. You will complete approximately 24kms over 3 days.
Payment: To secure your place on this tour you can either pay in full or pay a 20% deposit. With final payment due 30 days prior to tour departure.
