Cape Nelson Stroll into Nature - Friends of the Great South West Walk

Come and join the Friends of the Great South West Walk for an enjoyable walk on Cape Nelson. We will be walking the Sea Cliff Nature Walk and the Half Nelson. A gentle undulating track that takes us to the sea cliff through the wondrous Soap Mallee scrub. A great walk for oldies, youngies and all in between. There is even an opt out point halfway.

About our Club: The Friends of the Great South West Walk is a volunteer group that manages and maintains the Great South West Walk, along side Parks Vic. The Friends lead monthly walks, on a Saturday and a Monday, and some Thursdays. Walking with the Friends is a great way to tap into the knowledge of the area’s history, flora and fauna and meet a friendly bunch of people. The Friends also have many volunteers working on the maintenance of the Great South West Walk and its promotion. The club is always welcoming new Friends or volunteers.
