Cape Fear Fandom Faire returns to Northeast Library on Saturday, May 11th. Join us from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM for a FREE family-friendly event full of nerdy, geeky, bookish goodness. Schedule:
Storytimes: 10:15 AM - Robots, 10:45 AM - Outer Space, 11:15 AM - Superheroes
11:00 - 11:45 AM: Local author panel
12:00 - 12:45 PM: Local artist panel
1:30 - 3:00 PM: All-ages cosplay contest (registration for the costume contest coming soon!)
All day activities:
-The SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) will be on site with authentically crafted medieval armor and weapons demonstrations
-Vendors including artists, authors, and local art students!
-501st Legion and Rebel Legion costume club
-A green screen photo booth, gaming, a scavenger hunt, and more!
