We're back for the popular Canyon Lights creative experience at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park brought to you by Canon Creator Lab x Socality. Join us on the morning of November 23rd where you'll have the opportunity to connect with the local creative community. This private event will allow the community to connect and create together at the seasonal Canyon Lights before its regular operating hours. Canyon Lights brings spectacular light displays to the entire Park, including the famous Suspension Bridge, Treetops Adventure, and Cliffwalk. Your ticket will include coffee/tea and some light baked goods.
Attendees will have access to Canon gear through the Canon Creator Lab program, with a variety of mirrorless bodies and the latest lenses available for trial. Gear is available to reserve in advance using our booking system. Follow the link in your ticket confirmation email to make a gear reservation. A limited amount of gear will also be available for walk up booking on a first come, first serve basis.

Free 1 Hour Intro to Photography Workshop
Creatively inclined and looking to learn the fundamentals and take your photography skills to the next level? Join us for a free “Intro to Photography” Workshop on site during the event.
This beginner-friendly session is perfect for anyone who wants to explore the essentials, whether you’re new to cameras or mainly shoot with a smartphone.
In this 1-hour workshop, you’ll learn key photography fundamentals like camera settings (aperture, ISO, shutter speed), composition, and other basic techniques. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge in a unique, scenic environment.
All attendees will have the chance to use an entry-level Canon camera during the session, making it a great opportunity to experiment and build confidence behind the lens.
The workshop takes place during the first hour of the event, and space is limited.
