Developing student leaders in the High School Choral Music classroom
Empower your top singers to become confident, inspired leaders at our High School Choral Leadership Academy—a dynamic, one-day workshop designed to elevate the skills and spirit of young musicians. Through hands-on clinics, students learn to lead sectionals with clarity and purpose, guide effective warm-ups, and step into substitute-conducting roles with poise. They gain practical tools for individual preparation, discovering how to practice their own music with intention and efficiency, while exploring the deeper “Spirit, Heart, and Soul” of choral leadership that transforms a good ensemble into a great one. Throughout the day, participants strengthen their vocal technique in supportive group settings, with an optional add-on voice lesson and solo-ensemble coaching available at the end of the clinic. Whether they’re emerging leaders or already strong contributors in your program, this immersive workshop equips students with the musical, interpersonal, and artistic skills that empower choirs to thrive.
