Are you ready for some new spring style and to take your cotton canvas sneakers to a whole new level? If so, this will be the class for you. We will take your new or used white cotton sneakers and sprinkle, paint or dabble on some great colors! We will be using Fiber Reactive Dyes and ice for this project, so there can always be an element of surprise in how your finished sneakers turn out. On the first day we will be preparing for dyeing and applying dye to your sneaks as well as covering with ice. Day 2 is for rinsing and revealing our new shoes! You can also dye a cotton baseball cap, scarf or a cami at the same time. You will finish by 3 on the second day.Level: beginner

Materials provided by instructor: Ice and a kit of fiber reactive dyes, soda ash, tray and a paintbrush.
Materials students should bring: An old shirt that you don't care if you get stain on. Cotton canvas tennis sneakers and a couple of other cotton items that you might want to practice on.
