Canvas Paint Pouring

In this unique and creative workshop, students will create two 8x10" canvas paintings using a combination of paint pouring, and printing techniques.

We’ll begin by crafting a dynamic background using paint pouring methods, then layer in texture and depth with printed shapes and negative space. Using provided forms—mostly wooden cutouts, but also natural items like real leaves—you'll explore a stamping-like process to add visual interest and storytelling to your piece. The result is a bold and layered piece that’s both expressive and one-of-a-kind.

No experience is necessary—just bring your imagination and get ready to experiment!

There will be tarps and Aprons provided, however we suggest wearing clothes that can get messy.
Artwork will be wet for at least 48 hours, please consider bringing a tray or large box lid to carry them home, otherwise the art center will hold your creations in our drying racks until they are ready to pick up.Date/Time: Wednesday, September 24th, 6-8pmClass Cost: $45*Ages: 13+ Children under 15 must sign up with an adult.Class Size: 4-12Instructor: Keith Stangland
