Everybody wants a web banner from you... your web designer, the chamber, google forms, social media... and they're all different sizes! Let's create a custom web banner, so you're ready next time you need one.
In this project based workshop, you'll develop a web banner under the guidance of graphic designer Nicole Holmes. We will explore how to create a custom sized design, as well as how to choose a template quickly, create visual hierarchy, resize for multiple platforms, and downloading for web use.
So grab some food on the way and come ready for the most productive lunch meeting ever. And probably the most fun!
We will be using Canva, a free online design program, to build your rackcard. Nicole will share a few Canva tips along the way to help you save time and energy when designing marketing materials in the future. After a brief overview of the project, Nicole will offer expert advice to each attendee while creating your rackcard. Use your new rackcard confidently, knowing that it's designer approved!
Please have all logo files, headshots and other brand imagery easily accessible on your device.
About Nicole: In the last 18 years as a graphic designer, Nicole Holmes has worked with over 200 clients to develop logos and marketing materials tailored to their brand. After growing up in a family of entrepreneurs (and being one herself!), she knows the struggles and joys of running a small business, of building a dream. She is passionate about helping your dream become a successful reality.
