Sometimes you need something more interesting than a business card to put in a potential client's hand. Let's make a brochure!In this project based workshop, you'll develop a 4x9 inch rackcard under the guidance of graphic designer Nicole Holmes. We will explore the AI writing tools available in Canva, as well as how to choose a template quickly, visual hierarchy, image selection, and downloading for print.
So grab some food on the way and come ready for the most productive lunch meeting ever. And probably the most fun!
We will be using Canva, a free online design program, to build your rackcard. Nicole will share a few Canva tips along the way to help you save time and energy when designing marketing materials in the future. After a brief overview of the project, Nicole will offer expert advice to each attendee while creating your rackcard. Use your new rackcard confidently, knowing that it's designer approved!
About Nicole: In the last 18 years as a graphic designer, Nicole Holmes has worked with over 200 clients to develop logos and marketing materials tailored to their brand. After growing up in a family of entrepreneurs (and being one herself!), she knows the struggles and joys of running a small business, of building a dream. She is passionate about helping your dream become a successful reality.
