How great it feels to be a part of the Community of Clay County and help where needed. Each quarter, Crafting at the Nest designates a Non Profit in Clay County (for the most part) to volunteer our services whether it be a craft project or something of their choosing. Remember our last fundraiser was helping the Snowden Family at Christmas.This quarter, we would like to designate Canterfield of Clay County Assisted Living Facility. We are making cards for the staff to sign and give to each resident on their Birthday, along with giving each resident a little bundle of 3 cards for them to give out to family, friends, etc.
Come join us during open hours the next two weeks (some evenings available if we don’t have a class) to help out. If you don’t make cards, we can show you or have you assist in other areas, donate envelopes, etc.
Know someone that needs our help, see Cindy. We do have the next few lined up, but always looking for suggestions.
