Día de los Reyes (Three Kings Day) is a cherished Mexican tradition that honors the story of the Three Wise Men who brought gifts to baby Jesus. Celebrated on January 6th, it marks the end of the Christmas season — a time when families gather, children leave their shoes out to receive gifts from the Kings, and everyone shares Rosca de Reyes (King’s Bread).At Opera Cultura, we celebrate this beautiful tradition through our community event Cantar con los Reyes, held this year on January 4th at the San José Woman’s Club. It’s an evening of music, joy, and connection — honoring the cultural heritage that continues to bring families together.
