Since 2015, the Palm Springs Animal Shelter’s Rick Erwin Pet Food Bank has been a lifeline for local pet owners, distributing more than 5,000 pounds of food each year to families in need. By providing this essential support, the food bank helps keep pets with the people who love them and prevents unnecessary surrenders to the shelter.To keep this vital program going strong, we’re teaming up with News Channel 3 for our Cans ‘N Kibble Pet Food Drive on Friday, September 26th. Taking place across the Coachella Valley, the drive will collect much-needed kibble and canned food for dogs and cats, just the essentials, no treats. We’re thrilled to have News Channel 3 as our media sponsor, sharing coverage of the event throughout the day.
