About this Event
Canon and Canson Infinity host an exclusive post-production event in Birmingham dedicated to photographers and printmakers that are looking not only to get the best from their digital fine art prints, but also wanting to optimise their post-production workflow. Printing is an incremental revenue stream that is becoming more and more important to photographers as they look to differentiate themselves in the market. Once the process is understood and mastered, a photographer is in total control of their entire workflow, from capture through to print.
The Post Production event will host a series of educational presentations; including a step-by-step guide through the post production workflow and an insight into how printing can become an incremental revenue stream from Adam Karnacz (YouTube's First Man Photography). As well as an in-depth look and the importance of selecting the right paper for the job by Canson Inifnity Ambassador Chris Ceaser.
There will also be partner brands at the event from all aspects of the post production workflow, including Eizo & Calibrite. Canon experts will be on hand from professional desktop printing, large format printing and Canon Club to help and guide on all aspects of the post production workflow. The team from Canson Infinity will be on hand to advise and demonstrate the benefits of printing on fine art media.
Canon will be printing live throughout the day and attendees will have the opportunity to have two of their images on the latest Canson Infinity fine art papers (A3+).
Who are the Speakers:
Adam Karnacz has sold prints all over the world to people who appreciate the beauty, the emotion his work evokes, and the passion portrayed within his Landscape Photography. He occasionally ventures into other genres of photography and in 2019 he won the People’s Choice Award at the British Photography Awards with a Water Drop piece entitled Veil. A large part of the early success of his business was building up his YouTube channel, First Man Photography, where he reaches tens of thousands of people every week with his videos.

Chris Ceaser has had his inspiring fine art landscape images exhibited in galleries and exhibitions in the north of England. In July 2013 Chris opened his own gallery in the heart of York at 89 Micklegate, a lovely grade II* timber framed, timber framed building within the city walls that dates back to 1400. After 10 years at the York gallery he now works out of his exciting new studios in the pretty little village of Scrooby, home of the Pilgrim Fathers.
