About this Event
Canon and Canson Infinity invite photographers and printmakers to a unique post-production event in Wells, just outside Bristol, designed for those looking to refine their digital fine art printing and optimise their post-production workflow.
The day begins with an exclusive guided tour of St Cuthberts Mill, offering a rare glimpse into the craftsmanship behind their centuries-old papermaking process. Attendees will see firsthand how the new Somerset Enhanced digital fine art paper is made—a unique opportunity for photographers passionate about the materials that bring their prints to life.
The scene is then set for the afternoon, which will focus on perfecting the print process. Mark Padovan, from the Canon print team, will provide a step-by-step guide to getting the maximum from the Canon print software. Followed by Canson Infinity Ambassador and award-winning photographer Sarah Edmunds who will lead an in-depth workshop on achieving exceptional fine art prints. She will share professional insights on colour management, paper selection, and the technical aspects of producing gallery-quality prints.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with key industry partners, including Eizo and Calibrite, for expert guidance on display calibration and colour accuracy. Canon’s professional printing specialists will be available to offer hands-on support, ensuring participants gain valuable knowledge on every aspect of the post-production workflow. Meanwhile, the Canson Infinity team will showcase the advantages of fine art media, demonstrating how premium paper can elevate a print’s impact and longevity.
This is an exclusive event with limited spaces—secure your spot today.
Canon will be printing live throughout the day and attendees will have the opportunity to have two of their images on the latest Canson Infinity fine art papers (A3+).
