This year, we’re celebrating the Year of Cooperatives, highlighting the power of community, collaboration, and working together, while adding a playful hint of Halloween for a little extra magic.Across two huge days, the Canning Show will come alive with a dynamic and diverse program designed to inspire, entertain, and connect. Expect thrilling performances, interactive activities, hands-on creativity, immersive exhibitions, and plenty of unexpected delights for all ages and interests.
Costumes are encouraged, and community spirit is essential whether you come to showcase your talents, cheer on local legends, or just soak in the festive atmosphere.
Backed by over 110 years of tradition and run by the not-for-profit Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society (CAHRS), the Canning Show continues to evolve, reimagining what a community event can be while staying true to its roots.
