About this Event
Canna Christmas: A Celebration of Community and Compassion
Each year, 40 Tons hosts Canna Christmas, a heartfelt event dedicated to giving back to the children of incarcerated parents. This cherished gathering brings together cannabis industry leaders, advocates, and community members for an evening of connection, joy, and purpose.
The event, inspired by CEO Loriel Alegrete's personal experiences, is a testament to resilience and generosity. Having navigated the challenges of raising a family while her husband was incarcerated for non-violent cannabis offenses, Loriel channels her story into creating a beacon of hope for others facing similar struggles. Canna Christmas is her way of ensuring no child feels forgotten during the holidays.
What to Expect:
- Good Vibes & Great Entertainment: Featuring music by the 818’s favorite, DJ Nimfo, creating a festive and uplifting atmosphere.
- Tasty Food & Drinks: Enjoy delicious food and refreshments that bring everyone together.
- Community Impact: Every attendee helps support children in need, amplifying the evening’s significance.
How You Can Help:
To gain entry, please:
- Bring a Toy: A gift valued at $25 will light up a child’s face this holiday season.
- Make a Donation: $25 donations can be made in advance or at the door.
Canna Christmas is more than an event—it's a movement to uplift families impacted by the war on drugs, spread love during the season of giving, and advocate for social justice. Let’s come together to make a difference. See you there!
