Join us for some Fall Fun and celebrate 25 years of dog park fun!The Rockford Park District’s Canine Corners Dog Parks invites the public to enjoy outdoor fun with their dogs at a free “Fall Pawty” open house event scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10 am until 1 pm (rain date: Sept. 13) at the Canine Corners Searls location, 4950 Safford Rd. (off S. Central Ave.)
The event will feature a Rockford Police Department K9 demonstration at 11:00am, followed by a fun dog costume contest at 12:00pm with prizes for the most creative/unique, funniest, and cutest costumes. Guests can also enjoy delicious eats from Jammin Jerk Grill and sweet treats from J & C Old Fashioned Ice Cream. Plus, there will be raffle prizes, extra toys in the park, and more tail-wagging fun!
Donations to help with operation and maintenance of the dog parks will be gratefully accepted at the event.
The event is open to the public, however, all dogs in attendance must be spayed/neutered.
