About this Event
This scenic trail walk will be a guided canihike and we will hike approx 5 miles, and it should take approximately 2 hours to complete. We will not leave anyone behind, but please be fair on the other walkers and make sure you are fit enough to cover this distance at a reasonable pace with your dog.
This is a really good opportunity to walk and socialise your dog within a safe group, as all dogs will be required to wear a harness and everyone will need to use a canicross / canihiking belt with bungee line.
It is worth considering canihiking if the weather is too warm, your dog is too young to canicross, or you and your dog aren't fit enough to canicross yet or simply that the terrain isn't suitable for anything faster or maybe you would like to socialise your dog but can't in an off lead environment.
If you don't have the equipment we have some available to hire. You will need to book in advance so we can get the sizing correct.
Minimum of 3 participants for session to go ahead, you will receive a full refund if booked on and we can't fill more spaces.
