Mourning through the Moira, where intimate labor meets profound grief.€16 / €12 / €8
The Moira are people who mourn on behalf of others, managing loss through an intimate form of labor. caner looks at the service economy, emotional labor, migrant labor, and performative work, incorporating their experiences as a German-Turkish person and memories of their grandmother's ritual farewell.
caner teker is a survivor, supporter, and choreographer. Their performances explore themes of parasitism, transformation, and autobiographical worldmaking. By manipulating space, time and the body, they create images that convey personal experiences beyond queerness and post-migrant identity. caner presents for the very first time in Brussels.
