Welcome to the 68th annual Hollywood Beach Candy Cane Parade. The parade is scheduled / tentative, to roll down the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk on Saturday, December 7, 2023 at 7pm.
The Candy Cane Parade on Hollywood Beach is one of the longest running holiday parades in the country. It started back in the mid-1950βs by a group of Hollywood merchants as a way to draw patrons to their shops and businesses. Today it features dozens of lighted floats and vehicles along the parade route entertaining the thousands of spectators who line the Broadwalk.
β The parade begins at 7:00 p.m. on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk at Missouri Street and heads south to Harrison Street. Complimentary bleacher seating will be available at various locations along the parade route from Garfield Street to Polk Street. Parade emcee will be stationed at the Hollywood Beach Theatre at Johnson Street.

This year will be The Hollywood Lions Post / Club makes its 4th appearance in the annual parade. The HLC & Friends will be in full affect.
Are you outwardly focused? Want to help the Lions Club Spread Good Will, Cheer & Serve others while having FuN?
Join us for a BIG ROARing Great Time! Our Hollywood Lions Club & beyond . . . will be attending but Just like our furry Lion friends, we know there is strength in numbers so this is an invite for YOU to join US! We will show our community our presence for sure. We would LOVE your support. If you decide to join us meet us @ North Beach Park, the north end of the park, towards the back, look for our Hollywood Lions Club Banner & you found us. Join us so that we can spread Cheer while enjoying each others company while decorating our vehicle. We will get in formation for the parade @ 6. If possible, take an uber or lyft. Parking will be very difficult, so arrive early & park at Charnow Park or Hollywood Blvd Garage. Shuttles will bring you to North Beach Park(Sheridan St n the boardwalk) or walk over. Workers can direct you to our location once you enter the park. We will be enjoying Holiday Cheer together, hopefully you'll join us!
π¦ Participants are asked to wear their Lions Shirts or a red shirt, black pants or shorts & a Santa Hat. Hollywood Lions Members, please wear your Yellow Lion Shirt. Comfortable shoes recommend but it's only 1.3 miles long

Any new or slightly used toys, unwrapped, please bring them & we will have a BIG Christmas Box for them, This year we will be giving toys to The South Broward Learning Center / L.E.S. Foundation which distributes them to children in the Hollywood subdivision, Liberia. We will also be delivering presents to The Broward Outreach Center, where they assist homeless families. The gifts are much needed & very appreciated. π

Get ready to get your share of peppermints and candy canes at South Florida's premier holiday celebration, 67th Annual Hollywood Beach Candy Cane Parade. An estimated 40,000 people will line the Broadwalk at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th to watch the parade make its way from Scott Street south to Harrison Street. What a wonderful way to usher in the holiday season with a 100-entry festive parade along Hollywood's gorgeous oceanfront Broadwalk bordered on one side with holiday decorated restaurants, cafes and small lodgings on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Expect a multitude of lighted floats, colorful entries, marching bands, baton twirlers and costumed characters. Besides the floats and the seemingly endless supply of candy canes and peppermints, local talent fills the parade ranks.
