Each year, forty days after Christmas, we have the final feast of the incarnation of God in Christ—the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord in the Temple. Commonly known as "Candlemas," it is customary at this service to bless candles that will be used in church and in your homes for the coming year. And this year it falls on a Sunday, which means we will observe it at both the 8:30am and 10:45am liturgies on Sunday, February 2!
