About this Event
Please join me on Thursday, December 11th at 7:15 pm for the holiday season's most elegant and truly magical yoga class. Guided by the glow of candlelight and the holiday spirit, this class will take place at The Chapel in Decatur.
It will be here that we will flow together as a group, guided by the flicker of candlelight, the glow of our innermost being, the spirit of December, and our breath. Unlike other classes that have come before it, this yoga class will rely heavily upon quietude (within ourselves and to others), the silencing of our phones, a giving spirit, and a deep reverence for the practice that is yoga. The physical items that will inform our practice on December 14th will range from dainty jingle bells, two 3-D advent calenders, a 9 foot Christmas tree placed at the center of the room, wreaths, peppermint essential oil, faux garland arrangments placed at the top of each students' mat, sparkling white christmas lights, glittering pine cones, candy canes, and of course - thousands of candles.
Upon entry, each attendee will select a mini red ornament at random from a 3-D advent calender. This ornament will be numbered. After selecting your ornament, you will then be invited to find a special gift-wrapped present hidden somewhere within The Chapel, marked with your number on it. The items that are waiting for you inside the box are a surprise! And it will be well hidden inside of the sparce! It's location will be unknown to all staff and also YOU! Happy hunting!
The signature scent for this class will be peppermint. That is to say, at the end of class, each attendee will receive a cool peppermint towel over their eyes during savasana. (The experience is optional and can be skipped if you'd like!)
This event has been purposefully capped at 50 attendees only. You must be 21 years or older to attend this event. Each attendee will receive one complimentary gift bag after class that includes LMNT electrolytes, which is our official wellness beverage sponsor for this event.

All white or ivory yoga outfits encouraged but not required.
Please bring your own yoga mat.
Please note: parking is not complimentary at The Chapel. You will need to pay for your own parking, which will run about $5 if you park off street (tons available) and about $12 if you decide to park in one of the many public parking lots nearby. Heads up: Uber if possible, especially if you plan to stay in downtown Decatur to drink or eat after class!

Class start time: 7:45 pm - 8:45 pm

The skill level for this class is beginner to intermediate. All skill levels welcome!
