About this Event

This winter leave the busy festive season behind, as you enter an atmosphere of deep rest, care and surrender with this Healing Medicine Sound Journey.


This meditative experience offers a unique and immersive way to rejuvenate the mind, body and soul. During the session you will be guided through a practice of yin yoga while being 'bathed' in the soothing waves of sound vibration for 90min. This will enable you to drop down into your parasympathetic nervous system, the place where the body can heal and renew itself. The instruments produce powerful sound waves which move throughout the body, this may promote relaxation and reduce stress, enhance a meditative state, inspire altered states of consciousness, bring harmony and balance and allow for a deeper connection to oneself and the surrounding environment.

What is Sound Healing: Sound healing, alternatively known as Sound Therapy or Vibrational Medicine, is the practice of using sound and frequency to bring harmony, healing and relaxation to the body, mind & soul. Vibrations from the instruments & sacred chant assist the release of energetic and emotional blockages in the body and stimulate healing.


? What is Yin: Yin is a slow, gentle practice which initiates deep relaxation of the body, mind and soul, and aids the body into healing. In Yin we hold each pose passively for a longer period of time. All poses are floor based (no standing). Blockages within our emotional and physical body can be released through the long passive holds within a yin yoga practice. It is an excellent practice to help with sleep, to calm our nervous system and to bring a gentle stress/stretch to our connective tissues. Yin is also known as the practice of surrender.

? What to bring/wear:

· A yoga mat

. A blanket

· Something to cover your eyes

· Water to harmonise it during the sound healing and to hydrate after the session

· Wear cosy warm clothes

· Bring anything that will allow you to rest deeply.

· We will not generate heat in this session, your body temperature WILL drop. Please prepare with this in mind

· We respectfully ask that you do not bring your phone into the session as we move away from our usual state of more or less constant doing and move into a state of being and resting

· Due to the silent nature of the session late arrivals cannot be admitted, thank you for understanding

· Please arrive in good time so you are well settled in (the doors will open 10 min before the start time).

? This event is NOT suitable for those with:

· Sound sensitive epilepsy

· Pregnant women (Sound Healing not suitable in first trimester, Yin Yoga not suitable in last trimester)

· Deep vein thrombosis in the leg or known thrombi.

· Acute inflammations and tumours.

· Pacemaker or defibrillator (can not be placed on or near the affected area)

· A metallic implant (can not be placed on or near the affected area).

· If you are post surgery (before the sutures have been removed and the scar is not fully healed and closed).

· Severe tinnitus

· PTSD, Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or psychiatric condition.

· Raynaud’s Disease, Buerger's disease

· Under influence of alcohol or drugs

· Cardiovascular issues

· Severe mental illness

· Heavy Medic*tion

· Severe Asthma


*Always let us know if you have any implants, screws, artificial joints, inflamed joints and veins, inflammatory skin disorders, weeping eczema, diseased veins as they can not work near to this affected area.
