Candlelit Kirtan Club

Please join us for our monthly Kirtan in a candlelit and startlit setting. March 1st happens to be a day celebrated in Vrindavan and throughout Krishna bhakti communities called: Phulera Dooj.  It is a Hindu festival that celebrates the love between Radha and Lord Krishna. It's believed to bring happiness and joy to devotees, is considered a lucky day that is free from challenge, and an auspicious day for fortunate deeds!  What a perfect day to gather for kirtan in community! HARIBOL!

This month we are welcoming back our friend and incredible musician to join us, Scott! He leads monthly kirtans down in Sunset Cliffs, and we love when he comes to share with us at Kirtan Club! 

Please arrive 10 mins early. Prasad (blessed sweets) provided after kirtan. 

Kirtan fills our hearts with joy, enhances mindfulness, elevates our mood, and connects us with spirituality. Together we build a vibrant community of love and unity, spreading positivity one chant at a time. All are welcome, and no experience of any kind is needed. Join Merry and friends monthly at Kirtan Club in the exploration and passionate practice of chanting the Divine Names from the Bhakti Tradition. Kirtan is a form of interactive musical mantra meditation.

Merry started Kirtan Club in 2018 and has nurtured Encinitas’s kirtan community ever since!
