About this Event
Explore this subtle practice that supports connective tissue & joint space health. If you spend lots of time doing cardio, running, strength training, sitting, standing, driving, or being sedentary, Yin is an intentional tool to help you recover & move stuck energy. Passive postures give ample time for dedicated observation of your breath, mind, and body.
Postures are passive (you are supported by blocks, blankets, bolsters) and held for several minutes, which is secret sauce for joint space love. As you transition to another posture, you get a mini-rest in between called a rebound, which helps allow nutrients to move about. Some benefits are relaxation, contemplation, and good rest.
Yin is a subtle practice - it is usually completely floor-based, slow, and mindful. Over time, Yin can increase mobility and flexibility, as well as your self awareness.
