Our event has been rescheduled from 2/15! Brr!Come join the Friends of Rydell and Glacial Ridge Refuges Association for a free, family friendly Candlelight Ski and Owl Prowl, February 15th at Rydell National Wildlife Refuge from 6:30-10:00 pm.
- Cross country skis will be provided on a first come, first served basis! - You are welcome to bring your own skis if you have them.
- Snowshoes will also be welcomed with some available to checkout.
- There will be refreshments available in the Visitor Center to enjoy and to warm you up after your trek.
- Outdoor owl calling station(s) along the trail.
- Enjoy the ambiance of the outdoor fire pit and maybe warm your fingers and toes while you're at it.
In the case of little to no snow, the event will be changed to a hike. Guests will be notified in advance of the change or cancelation if needed for safety reasons.
