Candlelight Restorative is true to Restorative Yoga. Originally created to assist those recovering from injuries, its slow and meditative style is like one giant pause button for our hectic lifestyles. In each 75-minute class, you will be guided through breathwork and a sequence of floor based poses using yoga props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to comfortably support the body. Soft music sets the mood while candlelight illuminates the room. Minimal effort is required making this class suitable for all levels.
About Karen: Karen is a certified yoga teacher/guide trained in hatha and restorative styles of yoga with over 300 teaching hours (virtually and in-person). She enjoys guiding students through simple floor-based, gentle sequences that incorporate breathwork to provide a meditative inward experience. Karen has taught and continues to teach those with different needs, abilities, and body sizes by providing pose variations and always welcomes feedback. Expect a light-hearted and inclusive class environment.
