The wildly popular Fever Originals Candlelight series is heading to open-air spaces! From Duke Ellington and Ray Charles to Funkadelic, Bessie Smith and John Coltrane—the story of American music would be a short one without the contributions of Black American artists. Miles Davis helped reinvent jazz nearly five times alone! With Miles at the center of the harmonic conversation, a quintet of Atlanta’s most innovative jazz musicians reinterpret the cultural sounds of Black American music with vigor and vitality in this inspiring program.
