Join us for an informative but fun workshop where you will make a selection of scented candles and wax melts to take home and enjoy. Each workshop is aimed at total beginners and you will gain useful knowledge of equipment, fragrance, waxes, wicks, and containers. A relaxed way to spend the morning learning a new skill and whilst your candles are curing, you can enjoy refreshments before going home with your goodies.Meet Julie and Carole, the cousins behind family-run home fragrance business Miller and Ward. As well as our passion for creating high-quality fragranced candles, melts and diffusers, we offer the chance to learn the skill of candle making within a friendly and supportive atmosphere!
No experience is required as we will guide you through every step of the process, from wax selection to wick sizing as well as regulatory requirements - giving you the confidence and knowledge to create your own candles and melts at home.
In a three-hour workshop you will make a 120g travel candle, a large container candle and a selection of wax melts!
All equipment and materials are provided, as well as a choice of fragrances and vessels.
Light refreshments will be available.
