Dear friends,We are so lucky living in the City of Falls Church to have such an active and engaged School Board and City Council! There are 4 open seats on each and I’d like to opportunity to introduce you to two of our friends. Join us for a casual Meet & Greet! Come say hello, enjoy some coffee, and share your thoughts on our schools and our community.
Our friend, MaryKate “MK” Hughes, is running for Falls Church City School Board. She has tutored and taught our children, run PTA events and school departments, and even designed curriculum! (Her daughters have even babysat our boys!) Come meet her and see for yourself how awesome she is! MK will be talking about her campaign for Falls Church City School Board and—most importantly—listening to what matters most to you.
Our friend, Arthur “Art” Agin, is running for City Council. Art is a parent, a veteran, a successful consultant and even Chair of the Falls Church Citizens Advisory Committee on Transportation. Art has been serving our community and educating us on local issues since our now 8th graders were in first grade and we became fast friends through school and religious school! You might run into Art working from home in one of the many local coffee shops, but he’s always willing to stop working to visit and help.
Our Little City would benefit with both of these candidates voted into office.
