About this Event
Tarrant County’s maternal mortality rate remains significantly higher than the national average. The region also has the second-highest maternal mortality rate among Black women in Texas.
For the Fort Worth Report’s upcoming Candid Conversation Oct. 24, we want to discuss the question: how do we improve the health of Tarrant mothers?
A group of leaders and experts will participate in the panel to discuss maternal mortality and what is being done to address the issue.
