About this Event

The Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building is home to a variety of Masonic Cancer Center researchers, studying topics ranging from Animal Cancer Care, to Tobacco, to Cellular Mechanisms. Tours of CCRB labs will be led by researchers and grad students working within these spaces. You will get a peek into what equipment is used by researchers, what current topics are being studied, and how this research impacts cancer care. You can expect the lab experience to run for roughly an hour.


All registrants for these lab tours must be 12 years of age or older. Minors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A signed waiver is required for admittance.


The following safety procedures must also be followed:

  • Must wear a name tag throughout the duration of the lab experience
  • Must participate in pre-lab tour safety briefing day-of the event
  • Must arrive on time, late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated
  • Must wear closed toed shoes and long pants/dress/skirt
  • No food or drink is allowed (may be left in the pre-tour conference briefing room)
  • No photography/videography is allowed
