Canberra Play Outside Day is back! And this time, we’re bringing out the power tools 🔨😱
Yes, actual power tools—for kids and adults! And the legends from SALT Ladies Tradies will be there to show you how to use them! 💪💥 The project? A cheese board. Because nothing says “I’m an absolute pro at life” like serving snacks on a board you made yourself. The best part? You get to take it home. 🧀
But that’s just the start. Here’s what else is happening:
✨ Inflatable obstacle course
✨ Hammocks, slack lines and garden games
✏️ Charcoal drawing and crafts
🎶 Live music – featuring Angie Who, Bec Taylor, Canberra Burns Club Pipe Band and the Lyrebirds, and PRISM Jazz ensemble
🎭 Roving performances – including a bag piper who may or may not appear out of nowhere
🌼 Low sensory play – a chill space for little ones who prefer a calmer vibe.
🥐 Haig Park Village Markets (8am-2pm) because weekends = good coffee and market snacks.
✨ And (maybe) the BIGGEST bubble machine you’ve ever seen!
