Hello Canandaigua Community,My name is Shelby DeBeer, I have grown up in Canandaigua all of my life and graduated from the Academy in 2015!
I currently, work, raise a family and go to college online at SUNY Delhi studying Culinary Management.
This semester I have been assigned a civic engagement project where I take initiative to make a difference in our community! Very exciting!
I have decided to host a bake sale fundraiser in honor of Canandaigua Chronicles moderator Paula Hicks-Sowersby who works effortlessly to ensure the families of Canandaigua need's are met. Whether it's to help pay a bill, provide food or help families with the holidays, Paula continuously seeks to ensure are community members are well taken care of.
To relieve financial stress and prevent having to prioritize those in need I am hosting a bake sale on her behalf to help raise money for her "PIF"/ Pay it Forward Account.
A bake sale will be hosted (as I am a culinary student) as well as a raffle for Easter Baskets!
These funds DIRECTLY help our community members!
