Note: Please respond “GOING” if you can make it so we have a headcount and know who to wait for.A beautiful fall colour rip though some of the Kawartha's and some of Ontario's finest forests. With roads hugging lakeshores, rivers and rapids you won't want to miss this. (Note: With the weather as unpredictable as it has been, it is hard to time the colours this year. Worst case scenario it’ll be a fun scenic drive.).
The tour route has been pre-tested and is strictly on pavement with absolutely no gravel or reported construction. There are Shell stations on the way and they have been prioritized (for those with classics that need ethanol free 91 Octane V-Power).
IMPORTANT: If you have a walkie talkie, please bring it. We call out turns and route directions but also point out cool landmarks and such. It really makes our lives so much easier.
We would also strongly encourage you to bring snacks (cookies, chips, bottled water, etc.) to help make the trip more enjoyable. There is a lunch stop around 2:30 in Bobcaygeon, Ontario.
You are asked to come pre-fueled up. There is an Esso next door to the meeting location. Note: You are not required to be a member to drive. All are welcome.
