ROCA opens this 40th season with a program that looks back at some of the Canadian repertoire we have shared with our audiences over the years. The main works are the beautiful “Missa Brevis” by Imant Raminsh, and the virtuoso “Flight of Aphrodite” by Michael Conway Baker, in which James Malmberg is both violin soloist and conductor.
Our finale was created for the BC Pavilion at Expo 1986 – the year in which ROCA was formed.
