For the first time in 18 years, Alpine Ice is excited to be hosting "the Moose," a friendship team traveling from CANADA committed to the promotion of ice hockey internationally, for an exciting exhibition game against local invitational team "the Kraken."Join us for an afternoon of action and laughs as we celebrate ice hockey with good times and good friends, showcasing Canadian flavor social ice hockey live in Christchurch, NZ!
Doors open at 4:15 PM with the Canadian Moose game at 5:15 PM.
Women's Pre-Game 4.15pm - 5.00pm.
Arrive anytime from 4.15pm with expectation of the night of hockey to wrap up by 7pm.
Exhibition game entry is only $2 per person, with all proceeds donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

"The Canadian Moose World Travelling Ice Hockey Club, founded by Mark Sadgrove in 1989, is dedicated to playing and promoting hockey globally. Originally known as the Newmarket Bombers and Toronto Moose, the team consists of players ranging from former professionals to recreational players. The club has toured over 20 countries, playing against national teams and contributing to the development of hockey worldwide. The Canadian Moose has been recognized by the Hockey Hall of Fame for its efforts in promoting the sport internationally"
